Notpla’s team of experts has figured out how to turn seaweed (a renewable and abundantly available resource) into single-use packaging that’s fully compostable and designed to disappear without a trace—just like a fruit peel.

With partnerships and events spanning the Göteborg Marathon, UEFA Women’s Euro, and meal-delivery service Just Eat, Notpla has already managed to replace tens of thousands of units of plastic packaging. As a B Corp and a member of the Natural Polymers Group, they’re pushing for shared sustainability standards and legislation of harmful materials so they deliver social good while supporting the public in making choices that benefit all.

With a pledge to replace 1 billion units of plastic by 2030, Notpla plans to define a new normal that restores planetary health.
